Turn a clear photo or original idea into a readable sticker, save it to a focused pack, and add the pack to WhatsApp.
Step by step
Choose a strong source
Start with a sharp photo, a short video, or a simple visual idea. A clear expression and good separation from the background make the final sticker easier to recognize in a small chat bubble.
Create and clean the sticker
Use Sticker Maker for a photo, remove the background where supported, then adjust the crop and position. Add short text or emoji only when they make the reaction clearer.
Check the edges and composition
Inspect hair, hands, glasses, and transparent edges. Keep the subject large, leave a little breathing room, and test the sticker against both light and dark backgrounds.
Save to the right pack
Save static work to a static My Stickers pack and animated WebP work to an animated pack. Keep one visual theme per pack so the right reaction is easy to find.
Add the pack to WhatsApp
Open the pack detail after it has at least three valid stickers, choose Add to WhatsApp, and confirm the import. Then open a real conversation and test several stickers.
Compatibility and limits
Troubleshooting
The WhatsApp action is unavailable
Make sure the pack has at least three valid stickers and does not mix static and animated content.
The subject looks too small
Return to the editor, crop closer, and keep the face, gesture, or main object near the center.
Edges look rough in chat
Recheck the cutout at high zoom and add a readable outline when the subject blends into the chat background.
